About the show

Last week, viewers cast their votes after the first live performances, and Blonde Electra and Overload Generation made early exits from the competition – a double blow for mentor Louis Walsh. Now, the fight for a recording contract continues as the remaining contestants perform tracks from the 1980s in the second live studio round. During 80s Week last year, eventual winner Sam Bailey belted out The Power of Love – originally a hit for Jennifer Rush – winning praise from the panel and audience alike, but how will this year’s line-up cope with the decade’s finest power ballads? Dermot O’Leary provides much-needed support on stage, while Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Mel B and Louis take their seats behind the judges’ desk to cheer on their own acts. The results are tomorrow at 8pm. [Source ITV.com]

Postcard entry TV competitions

If you are considering using a paid option such as premium rat telephone or sms entry then you should consider postal entry for the prizes that are not allowing web site submissions.

It is quite clearly the lowest cost way to submit your entries for the prizes on offer.

Typical sms or premium rate entry typically costs around £1.50 per entry per prize but you can enter with a postcard for as little as the cost of a Royal Mail 2nd class postage stamp for 53p per entry.

Good luck everybody and please tell your friends.

You can’t submit your free entry in the comments section below.

  1. Hello Dave and thanks for your comment. I know for sure that free entries do win prizes but it is hard to convince people. I know of at least 3 winners who have used my site and won big prizes but I’m not sure if I can publish their names, nor would I feel comfortable doing so either.

Some winners names are on my email list and match the names and location of the winners published on ITV.com and Channel4.com. They are also very unusual names so that I’m convinced that they are the actual winners. There may be even more winners who have used my site but the surnames are quite common such as Smith and Cooper so I can’t be sure if they are bona fide winners.

I only publish names of winners who are actually listed by the TV prize promoters and as such are publicly available to anyone.
